David Henderson

David Henderson

President

David Henderson has been with MBS for more than two decades. A veteran of many successful organizations, Henderson brought his commitment and sales leadership to MBS and helped with the growth of the sales and marketing departments before moving into his new role in March of 2017. On his free time, Mr. Henderson enjoys fishing, golf and family.

Bill Dampier

Bill Dampier

Executive Vice President - MBS

Bill Dampier has over 20 years of experience with MBS, spending a majority of his career with MBS Direct as the Director of Client Services, General Manager and Chief Operating Officer before moving into his current role. He currently heads the commerce division of MBS, responsible for the overall buying and selling of textbooks and course materials for MBS’ wholesale and retail operations. He oversees more than 400 employees, maintains high-level relationships with publishers, content providers, technology vendors and works closely with the President to develop organizational policies and goals for all aspects of MBS.

Andy Gingrich

Andy Gingrich

Chief Financial Officer

Andy Gingrich has been CFO at MBS Textbooks Exchange for more than 30 years. During this time, he has been instrumental in the in the financial structure and management of MBS. He is both a graduate of the University of Missouri and a Certified Public Accountant. His accounting background was originally in public accounting and medical school management. When not at work he likes to focus on fly fishing and travel.

Jeff Miller

Jeff Miller

Vice President, Sales and Marketing

Jeff Miller joined MBS in 2009 as the Director of Systems Sales after having spent his entire career in retail technology sales. He previously worked at Arrow Electronics, Inc., a Fortune 150 international technology distributor, managing the Retail Business Unit. Today, he manages the teams responsible for developing new business for MBS Textbook Exchange, LLC and MBS Direct. He is based in Tampa, Florida.

Sarah Shiflett

Sarah Shiflett

Vice President, MBS Technology

Sarah Shiflett, Vice President of Technology, has been part of the MBS team since 1982. Sarah has been instrumental in developing product offerings and customer service concepts for the entire line of MBS Systems Online Services ASP model. With 30-plus years' experience in MBS Systems, she has experience in every aspect from product development, implementation, installation, training and support to marketing. During her tenure with MBS, Sarah has worked with hundreds of stores as they implemented MBS products and services.

Dave Easton

Dave Easton

Vice President, MBS Technology

With over 23 years of experience, Dave Easton serves as Vice President of MBS Technology. He has played an integral role in the development and implementation of key technology including the Virtual Bookstore, Textbooks.com and the integration of the Beumer Crossbelt Sorter in our warehouse. He currently oversees computer and network operations as well as manages internal and external software development groups.

Susan Thompson

Susan Thompson

Vice President, eCommerce

Susan Thompson has been with MBS since 2006, serving as the General Manager of Textbooks.com before entering her current role. She carries a BS degree in English Language and Literature from Barnard College and is based out of Boston, Massachusetts.

Kevin McKiernan

Kevin McKiernan

Vice President, Inventory Management

Kevin McKiernan joined MBS in 1988 as the Director of Business Development. During his tenure, he has served as the Director of Digital Product Strategy, Project Manager and Director of Strategic Relationships. He has a BSBA in Management from the University of Louisville and an MBA from Morehead State University.

Pat Sullivan

Pat Sullivan

Vice President, Publisher Relations

Pat Sullivan joined MBS in 2017. Mr. Sullivan brings more than 15 years of experience in the publishing industry having worked with Pearson Learning and managing their relationship with the University of Phoenix during their period of greatest growth. He is a graduate of the University of Kansas with a degree in Journalism.

Mark Pulliam

Mark Pulliam

Vice President, Logistics

Mark Pulliam has been with MBS since 1998. He began his career with UPS doing everything from washing trucks, deliveries and becoming the official MBS rep. He was lured away by MBS to serve as the director of warehouse automation, vice president of operations and vice president of logistics.

Jerome Rader

Jerome Rader

Vice President of Human Resources

Starting with MBS Textbooks Exchange in 1989, working in the old warehouse on Paris Road, Jerome advanced to the position of Vice President of Human Resources. Jerome came to MBS while pursuing his MBA in the evenings. He has his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Columbia College and his MBA from Lincoln University. He is on the City of Columbia Personnel Advisory Board, a member of the University College of Business Management Advisory Board, active with the Northwest Rotary Club and has been involved in several local non-profit organizations. Outside of work, Jerome and his wife raise and show American Saddlebred Horses and compete in agility competitions with one of their four dogs.

Nelson Durk

Nelson Durk

Vice President

Having started at MBS in 1973, Nelson has enjoyed witnessing the computerization of most aspects of book buying and selling, which has made things easier for our customers and employees alike. Nelson oversees our non-store textbook acquisitions from contract buyers and manages our fleet of company cars. Outside of work, Nelson is an avid collector of sports memorabilia.

Brad Hood

Bradley J. Hood

Vice President Financial Reporting & Taxation

Brad Hood joined MBS in 2008. His responsibilities include financial reporting and taxation. After receiving his Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of Missouri, he worked for KPMG, LLP in Kansas City for over 8 years and in public accounting.
