Job summary
Primary Objective of Position
Unloading of inbound shipments using forklift, pallet-jack, two-wheel hand-truck or conveyor system.
Verification of condition and number of cartons received against information on freight bill.
Storage of shipments on airlock racking system.
Data-entry of shipment information onto computer system. &am p;am p;nb sp;
Qualifications
Must be able to work independently and with good attention to detail.
Must be above departmental standards in current position; must haveexcellent attendance record.
Must be able to work overtime as needed and on short notice.
Previous forklift or data-entry experience is helpful.
Ability to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness.
Ability to demonstrate consistent attendance and punctuality
Physical Requirements
Regularly required to: stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch duringan eight hour shift.
Required to reach with hands and arms.
Frequently required to use hand and eye coordination.
Regularly lift and move up to 70 pounds throughout the shift; must be able to work in varying temperatures.
Able to push/pull up to 150 lbs
